floor plan of wedding idea

when the visiors first enter the exhibiton, they will first see the so called work room of making the wedding gown.

at the working table, will be where the users can find sewing machines, which allows them to be able to experience the feeling of trying to place the thread in the correct areas, purpose is to let them experience the feel of using the sewing machine.

at the left of the exhibition, will be a display of the different quailty of cloths used to make the wedding gown. according to researches, the quality of thread and cloth used will affect the color of the gown after years. this exhibition will be placed high, but visiors will be able to reach and feel for themselves, the different quality of the cloths.

towards the back of the first room, the visitors will see a seperator which is made with hanging batik from the wall. this hanging batik is to showcase the different batik designs.

upon crossing the batik seperator, the visitor will see themselves being projected on a screen, where they will be required to wear the wedding gown which is deteched through gestures of the user. as there's many different layers that the bride is required to wear, the users will have to trail and error on which goes first.

behind the screen, will be a showcase of the wedding gown, worn the correct way. at the back of the room, will be a showcase of different wedding gowns with different motifs. these motifs will be interactive, example will be the butterfly motif, when the visitor is to walk close to the clothe, the butterfly will start flying on the clothe. upon touching the butterfly, the user will be able to see the meaning of the motif shown by the butterfly.

but the comment for this idea was as wendy stated in the previous post, Mr Andrew had stated that there's no backbone to the concept, thus, we had came up with another idea.
