and to update on our 3 initial ideas.

1st idea

user will be able to carry the umbrella and be part of the wedding ceremony. when the user carry the umbrella, there will be a projection of the attire down on their clothes.

2nd idea

a passage way of portaits or images will be hanged on the side of a walkway. the presence of a user walking by or stopping in front of the image, will caused the images of married Perankans to start playing which will talk about their wedding experiences. when the user is to continue walking, the video will fade out and stop playing.

When the user enters the next room, there will be a 3D projection of the wedding procession going on. the users can choose either to be the audience, bride or the groom. to be the bride or groom, the user will only have to step in the place of the bride or groom. with the help of pressure pads, the 3d projection will be stopped, and only the clothes will be projected on the user. standing in place of the bride/groom, the users will be required to walk through the procession in the same/similar manner of the bride/groom, however, the user can choose to leave anytime, as the image of the bride/groom will be projected should the user leave the scene.

with the help of audio and moving background images, the feel of the users being in the scene as either part of the audience, or the bride and groom can be stimulated.

3rd idea

our 3rd idea is based on audio. users will be able to be the mucisians of the wedding procession, where they can play the different musical instruments. in a quiet museum, the loud and lively noise of the instruments will attrach the attentation of other visitors. upon sensing the increase of the number of people, the atmosphere of the procession will be more lively, i.e. the music will be louder, there will be an increase of the amount of people in the background.
