after showing Mr Andrew our traditional concept yesterday, we were told to explore more on the theme, which is hardship and glamour. after breaking down serveral aspect of our traditional concept, and thinking of how we can represent hardship and glamour, we had came up with our garden concept in relation to the bee. as we had realised that the hardship and the glamour both needs each other. glamour wont be there without the hardship and hardship needs the glamour to survive. just like a bee works hard to collect honey for themselves, and honey wont exsit if there's no bee.

the hardship of making a wedding gown is usually the person who is sewing it, but they are often forgotten. however, the end product which is the wedding gown is always the limelight of the event. which is rather similar to the concept of bee and honey, bee being the person who's sewing and honey being the wedding gown. we wanted to show and let the users feel how tiring and tedious it is to sew a wedding gown together.

Information Flowchart for our garden concept

the idea of having the visitors to be able to leave a 'mark' which is the motif done by them, is to allow multipal user's participation in completing the wedding gown. as for how the outcome of the motif will be like will depend on how much effort the user had placed in during the sewing part. the planning by the user may also affect the end result. we had included a way for the user to undo their mistakes by allowing them to retrace their action to show how fustrating it will be, to just try to solve the mistake.
